Description
The Sightron SVIII 5-40×56 ED FFP is Sightron’s top long-range scope, and a great match for a SKOUT EVO on the bench or in the field. ED (extra-low dispersion) glass gives a bright, sharp picture all the way up to 40x, and the first focal plane reticle keeps its MIL values true at every magnification.
The 40mm tube gives a huge 40 MRAD of elevation and 20 MRAD of windage. The large tactical turrets click in 0.1 MRAD with 10 MRAD per turn, and an internal zero stop lets you spin back to zero by feel. Side focus runs from 10 meters to infinity, which suits airgun distances.
Choose your reticle: LRM or MH-6, both illuminated.

Reticles
Both reticles are illuminated MIL-hash designs made for the SVIII. Each has a floating center dot with hash marks every 0.2 MIL, and windage marks at full and half MIL elevations. The whole center section lights up bright enough for daylight use. Both are made for extra-long-range target shooting. Measurements are in MILs and hold at every magnification (first focal plane).
