Description
The Nomad Nano is Air Venturi’s lightest PCP compressor: 15 lb with a carry handle, oil-less, and it runs off a wall outlet or a 12V car battery. Set the pressure, start it, and it shuts itself off when your rifle is full.
SKOUT recommends it for
Topping off your rifle at the range, in the truck or at the bench. Ideal for one rifle and quick fills straight into the gun. If you fill several rifles back to back or want to keep a storage tank full, step up to the RovAir or the Krypton.

How to fill your rifle
- Set your target pressure on the gauge (adjustable auto shut-off, up to 4500 psi). Use your rifle’s fill pressure, never more than the rifle is rated for.
- Close the bleed / pressure-release valve (clockwise until snug).
- Connect the hose to your rifle or its bottle and check that the quick-disconnect collar is fully forward and locked: give it a tug.
- Turn the power on so the fans run, then start the compressor.
- If the compressor stops by itself within a few seconds of starting, start the fill with the bleed valve open and close it after a few seconds of running.
- Stay with the compressor and the rifle for the whole fill.
- When it reaches your set pressure the compressor stops. Open the bleed valve to release the pressure in the line.
- When the compressor gauge reads 0, disconnect the hose.
Care and safety
- Bleed the line every time: at the end of each fill, and before restarting if you stop part-way. If the line still holds pressure, the compressor will shut itself off a few seconds after you restart it.
- Filter: Air Venturi recommends replacing the output air filter every 2–3 hours of use.
- Direct fills only: made to fill PCP rifles and pistols directly. Air Venturi says not to use it on stand-alone SCUBA or SCBA tanks; doing so can damage the compressor and voids the warranty. For storage tanks, see the Krypton.
Warranty
One-year limited warranty from Air Venturi.
Covered for 12 months from the retail purchase date
Defects in materials or workmanship. Air Venturi repairs or replaces the faulty parts, covers parts and labor, and pays to ship the repaired unit back to the customer.
Not covered
- Shipping the faulty unit to Air Venturi
- Damage from misuse or abuse, or from skipping normal maintenance (filter changes, bleeding the line)
- Parts that wear out normally
- Consequential or incidental damage, such as damage to property
- Filling stand-alone SCUBA or SCBA tanks with this compressor (voids the warranty)
